Allegory of an LED wall

This was an interactive LED wall built for Another Love Story. The piece used two Fadecandy controllers, 672 LEDs, 672 ball pit balls, and an Xbox Kinect.

The Kinect tracked movement in front of the wall, while the Fadecandys drove the LEDs behind the diffused ball-pit grid. The result was a big, soft, low-resolution light surface that reacted to people moving through the space.
